Our sustainability commitment
We handpick independent and trustworthy designers that live up to our standards.
We value businesses that nurture local development and economic growth.
We only partner with companies that have a traceable supply chain, from end-to-end.
Sustainability is the very core of our business and we are committed to constant improvement.
We select timeless, sustainable products designed for form and function.
We feature both new and vintage products that can last for decades.
We promote products made from materials that have minimal impact on the environment such as organic cotton, linen, wool, hemp (GOTS), lyocell, tencel, modal, bamboo (produced in a closed system), wood (FSC certification), recycled materials e.g. recycled steel, plastic, biodegradable materials, upcycled stock or cut-offs.
We curate innovative yet classic designs that will stand the test of time.
We have made a commitment to diversity and believe all workers should be treated with respect.
We are proud to work with socially-responsible businesses and communities that demonstrate social responsibility and create jobs for vulnerable people.
We believe inclusion makes us stronger.
We believe all people and communities should be treated with respect. We insist upon a healthy and safe work environment with the right to fair work hours and collective bargaining, e.g. working with sub suppliers certified (SA8000). Under no circumstance do we tolerate child labor or discrimination.
We aim to reduce the environmental impact of lifestyle and design products.
We keep our carbon footprint as low as possible. All raw materials for our featured products are produced in Europe or live up to qualified certification standards. Most products are shipped directly from the designer to the consumer, reducing miles transported and excess stock.
We set high production standards for our designers to protect the environment and biodiversity.
We reduce waste and plastic consumption, e.g. biodegradable or recycled plastic product wrapping. We have a zero-tolerance policy on disposable, single-use plastic.
We provide valuable insight to consumers, fostering more mindful choices and creating positive change.
We gather, process, and communicate relevant information.
MORE MINDFUL CHOICES
We seek to reach as large an audience as possible to make a greater impact.
We provide consumers with the insights they need to make informed decisions.
